The University Framework Implementation Network was jointly established by the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland and the Irish Universities Association in 2007. The purpose of the network is to deepen the implementation of the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) within the university sector, primarily through the exchange of experience and practice between members.
As a result, it is hoped to develop, where appropriate, common principles and approaches to Framework implementation. In support of this endeavour, the University Framework Implementation Network website is intended to act as a communication and information resource for network members, but also for the wider constituencies that members represent.
