A consistent theme emerging during the course of the preparatory discussions held with network members was the important issue of designing assessment methods that enable the demonstration of learning outcomes attainment.
Working Group Report
The report of this working group, The assessment of learning outcomes, provides general information on assessment, and acts as a resource for anyone designing or redesigning assessment approaches in the context of learning outcomes. It explores a range of issues and questions, including the constructive alignment of programme and module learning outcomes; choosing which outcomes to assess, when and how, and addresses the practical institutional and procedural contingencies that impact on assessment practice.
